Dr. C G Krishnadas Nair, Former Chairman, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, and Fellow Indian National Academy of Engineering is a Padmashree Awardee for outstanding contributions in Engineering Science and Technology and winner of Scope Awards for excellence in Public Sector Management and Prime Minister’s Gold Trophy for the Best Chief Executive. He is a recipient of award for Lifetime contributions and achievements from three leading professional engineering associations namely, Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and Institution of Engineers India (IEI). He is a fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering and was honoured with National Lifetime Achievement Award in Engineering by INAE in 2007. He has served as the first Vice Chancellor of MATS University, Raipur. He was the Chairman and Managing Director of Cochin International Airport Services and Cochin International Airports Limited. He was the Chairperson of Governing council of National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and has been the Chancellor of Jain University and Chairperson of the governing council for International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM), which he founded with Industry partnership. He has authored more than 200 research and technical papers and 24 books. Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) is the vision of Dr CG Krishnadas Nair which he founded while he was MD of HAL to enhance private industry participation in India’s national aerospace projects, and grow India’s capability and capacity in this sector. He is co-founder of Society for Professional Ethics and Management (2008) and is Managing Editor of “Asian Journal of Professional Ethics and Management”.
